Im going to buy a hdmi cable for my new pro and was wondering how could i run audio to say my audio receiver since my computer monitor does not have speakers. I plan on using a hdmi-dvi cable and im trying to think of a way that this could work.

Could i use bot the rca cables for sound and hdmi for vid or something like that.

Any help would be great, thx.

You can use an optical cable on the component jacks, it should be there on the HDMI just in case you need it. I haven't eyed a HMDI 360, so I'm not sure if it is there. You also have to have a 5.1 system just to be able to accept the optical out, so I know that sucks. Would have been nice to hook it up to some basic stereo speakers for those of us without the 5.1.

Maybe this will help

this might might be what you need...its $50...you might as well spend another $50 on top of that for the $120 gig hd since the elite comes with that cable set...
