lol I found an old PIII sticker kicking around at work today and thought it would look nice on the XBOX since its kinda true in a way.

Interesting... So should we also put Windows powered (isn't that an oxymoron...) on there?

well I heard the Xbox CPU was based on the Coppermine PIII core with half the L2 cache disabled but that it was NOT a Celeron because the PIII has an "8-way set associative" L2 cache and the Celeron cores have only 4-way. Also the SSE2 instructions are taken out of the XBOX core. But what I read claims its a PIII even if the 128 KB of L2 would lead you to think its a Celeron core. Could be wrong. I hope not because then the sticker would be lying!

It's close enough to a real Pentium 3.

You're right, they do look good. I got my stickers off ebay for 99p a while back. In my case the p3 sticker is actually true as I have a trusty 1ghz board from China biggrin.gif

yes I looked thru the whole pile of stickers and there was no NVidia ones sad.gif I did get a bunch of AMD and some ATi ones for my computer tho wink.gif

1GHZ on an XBOX? must be nice!
