Can I Send Movies To Xbox 360?

Hey all, i'm thinking of buying a xbox 360, but thinking if i should give my xbox to a friend.
But would like to know if i can send files to my xbox 360 like i do with my xbox. And if so what xbox 360 Package do i need to buy.(pro package has 20gb and core not sure what size it has)

You can't transfer files like you can with a modded Xbox, but you can stream WMV's over your network. You can also play .avi's by using software like Tversity to recode the video on the fly into a Wmv, if you have a relatively fast computer.

You can also play movies of a USB Fat 32 device, in WMV format (like .h26 I believe) as well, the Core has no hard drive, either get the premium or the elite (the Elite has a 120GB hard drive but I don't have a 360 I don't think you can transfer movies to it only stream or used external, the 120GB drive is good for demos, video market place etc)....
