Hey Guys,

If you have a spare moment please could you sign our petition on:
http://www.thepetiti...-best-game-ever

Hopefully if we get enough signatures it may persuade Bungie to continue on with the Halo series as we know it. Sure, spin-offs like Halo Wars will be nice but it is way too early to ditch the Halo series.

Please sign it and we may just see Halo 4 sometime soon on our shop shelves. smile.gif

Thank you,

Tom @Halo4.co.uk

This will be the ONLY thread for this. Do not make any more threads anywhere on the board. All of the other threads I closed have been referenced here.

I personally hope it ends with 3. Yeah, Halo is a great game and everything, but if they make more than 3 of em, the story is gonna be stretched waaay too far. I want to see what happens and end it in this one. Yes it will be sad to know that there is no more halo, but I'm sure Bungie will find something else to occupy us.

There will not and should not be Halo 4. The series was meant as a trilogy, and I'm sure Bungie intends it to stay a trilogy. As Mason said, it'd just be stretching the story WAY too damn far.

Bungie'll come up with something cool next, I'm sure. Doesn't have to be Halo.

WHAT THE FUCK? H3 isn't even out and people are worried about it ending? This shit is sickening.

Yeah, I know this is the "last" in the series, but, in the entertainment industry, that sorta thing is rarely set in stone. If they think they can make big bucks, they'll make another. Being that Halo 3 is the most anticipated game this year and it's guaranteed to succeed, I'm willing to bet we'll see another Halo game. I'd guess a prequel to Halo or maybe a spin-off involving the Flood or something. Even if it is the last, Halo 3 will be played online (which is why most people get into it) for years to come.

There will be no sequel. Maybe a prequel, but it has been confirmed many times that this is the end.

I agree let the story die at Halo 3 like it's supposed to. A prequel will most likely come out. Something with the flood, master chief training/early years. You know they will do something else.

lol How could Bungie make Halo 4 if the story ends at Halo 3. The only way to persuade them would have been a couple years ago when Halo 3 was still in development and they could have decided to cut Halo 3 short and to continue with a 4.

The way the story ends in Halo 3 makes it impossible to have a 4... Just forget having another sequel... only prequels will be possible...

An untitled Halo project was announced on September 27, 2006 at X06, to be co-written, co-designed and co-produced by Peter Jackson, with his recently-formed Wingnut Interactive. It was later revealed that it would in fact be a 'New trilogy' of Halo games, not one. It also has been confirmed that it will be episodic.

I think the only way to go is with a prequel........

Halo Origins (Subtitle How a hero was born) Plot along the lines of The master chief in training along with all other spartans ending with the elimination of most of the spartans and how he was the only one left. Set against the backdrop of the covenant growing strong and the origins of the Halo rings.

Or something like that............................
