Where Do You Guys Get Plexi?

not sure where to look, thought i'd give ebay a shot...found nothing. Thinking about doing another case mod, and wanted to cut a window and throw on tinted plexi

Try HomeDepot or Lowes. I get mine at Lowes for about 3 bucks for an 8"X10" piece. Plenty big enough for a window

How thick is that plexi? I wanted to make my own case.

I used a folder wall hanger for mine. Worked perfectly!

I go to home depot or lowes, for my plexi..

Also if you want tinted check ebay, or if u want black tint they have this diy tinting film for car windows and advanced auto and auto zone, may wanna try that if you cant find your black tinted plexi?

I have no clue where you'd go besides eBay if you're not stateside, but you can find plexi on the cheaps at TruValue hardware stores in the midwest. That's where I get my supplies. (It might just be a midwest chain, I dunno where it is you're located, otherwise I'd have some other suggestions)

hot glue will work but you can use silicone also

Dear God no. Well for temporary testing, yes I use hot glue on plexi, but for a sturdy built case? Hell no.


You need screws and clamps. There are some slotted just for plexi too. Go look at someone like Dynamikes case (not the xcube, the other one). Thats how it should be done.


If you construct a case based on hot glue it will be a mess, period.

putting in a window, not building a case... i heard hot glue should be fine for windows? uhh.gif
