its fun to play, NOT fun to watch... meaning the movie would be shit regardless if they tried to make it too much like the game... remember doom? fuck all like the plot (which was pretty flimsy to begin with, like most video games), but they had that shit first person scene... really, really horrible... blessing in disguise id say...

@ILLusions0fGrander, Dead or Alive is one of the worst/best films I've ever seen! .

Not cool. I was really looking forward to them Hollywood directors butchering Halo
agreed, but somehow i was still hoping to see this massacre...

Maybe they wont make Halo 4 but maybe they make in the year 2010 the Halo Beginnings ...
Like the first book ... Or even Earlyer ...
one tear, and a big smile while playing Halo 3.
Whatevver going to happen, I am not surpriced about this last news.
Master chief in new DOA 2 movie ? hihi

Someone will still make it.
My belief exactly. With all the money this franchise is making along with its popularity, M$ won't let the movie die. It will be made sooner or later.

If the movie would look like this it would be frucking bad ass,
have the people who made this do the whole movie, Or is this a trailer for the movie that is now more
The people who made that are the ones that were doing the movie. To me this just sounds like info I already knew. The movie has beed in 'limbo' or as he said dead since the studios pulled out. I believe the reason for the short films was to draw interest back into the movie.

a bunch of movie has gone into it... and really now, if they can put hunderds of millions of dollars into the crap that was spiderman3, why not think outside the box here and recognize that pretty much all the people that own halo would go see this movie with probably a bunch of non gamers as well that are checking out what halo is all about

And Halo 3, a Halo Movie, a Halo stratagy game, Halo books, or even a fucking Halo cartoon will not change that.
I say bring on the Halo movie, so it can put the final nail in the coffin of this disaster. I mean, why do something half-ass? Infact, lets rename the the fucking planet Halo.
PS. M$, I will NEVER forgive you for this...
