Sorry to make a new topic on this ive tried asking the question in a few other peoples topic but no1 has answered and i really want to order a burner today and wanted to be 100% sure it will work before i order it. Ive read the guides and know Pioneer 112 will work but didnt know what the DVR and the D after stood for and if it would work.
I was looking at getting this burner Pioneer DVR-112DBK

I have it to.
DBK means dark black (colour) , simple .
Edit: Oh ! I didn't understand your question ... You're asking about DVR right ? Mine has it too , so no problem (again)

I'm just hazarding a guess but my guess is that DVR=Digital Video Recorder. It is a designation that Pioneer has used on their DVD Burners for years.
Yeah that would make sence
