I've been using Verbatim DVD+R DL discs w/my pioneer 112(B ) drive with CloneCd to make my 360 backups. For the first week or so the backups work flawlessly but then suddenly it gives me the "dirty disc" error. The disc is always clean and unscratched. If i burn another copy it'll work but again only for around a week. I have the hitachi drive, is there anything I can do to make better copies? Thanks.

it sounds like your laser is dying. you should replace it either with a new drive or just the laser itself. these can be found on ebay pretty commonly.

Try a pot tweak and a lens clean first, it'll save you money if it works.
