Just got my 360 back from MS. It has a Toshiba-Samsung drive. Are there any precautions I need to take before I try the firmware mod?

I think the question from xpt360 was supposed to be "are you going to be using this 360 online?"

If not (and you won't ever be using it), then Xtreme 5.3 has better support and compatibility.

If you are, then you need iXtreme 1.3.

MS don't do anything else their end (in other words, they haven't bugged the machine!)
