Ok so i have been updating my xbox's FW since before. like during the first xtreme FW release. I updated it to ixtreme 1.2c so now that the ban hammer just hit everyone luckily i havent been banned yet. SO now i decided to upgrade it again. The only problem is that I upgraded my computer. I couldnt flash it anymore. So i bought a VIA 6421A which is okay i guess with the use of iprep.

But after all that, My computer could not detect it. It says " No Drives Detected." I've been searching the forums but i couldn't find any answer.

My mother board has ICH9 which i believe also works with iprep.

Can anyone solve my Drive detection Problem thanks..

rolim91,

I believe you need to disable firmguard. Use the 0800 disc method for your xbox360 drive to show up on MSDOS.

Yeah i have a 0800 disc it still wont recognize it. I believe it should recognize a drive first. Before using the disk.

or is it the other war around? The disc first then it should recognize it.

Well I read its disc first to bypass firmguard and then it will show up.

Have you tried all ports on your SATA card? I find the the inner most one on mine is the only one that works.
