Xbox And 5.1 Speakers

hi there ...

little question i have smile.gif.....

i found at the internet many tutorials how to add to xbox RCA or SPDIF outs...but there is no answer out there for my problem..

i have pc speakers system 5.1 but it have only 3 inputs [ mini jack so there are 6 speakers = 1 x rear , 1 x front , 1 x sub / central ] .. is there any way to connect this system to my xbox ??

Easy solution is no, best you're getting is stereo over all channels. You can buy RCA Audio to 1/8 inch mini jack converters for pretty cheap, got mine free with my PC 5.1 system. Which is still good, I love that setup :-). If you want *true* 5.1 digital from your xbox, you'll have to get a soundcard in your PC that supports some kind of digital in, like the Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro if you want to put down $250 on it. But for that money you could get a new set of PC speakers that already has optical in, so...

I don't think its possible to split the digital audio signal of the Xbox into 3 mini jack pins, I haven't even seen a conversion to digital 1/8 pin.
