as long as it isnt locked... and both have modchips.

even a default Xbox HD ?? does it need to be unlocked ?? even with a modchip installed ?

It HAS to be unlocked, as it is coded to the Xbox it came from.

how do I unlock it ?? (I have a moded Xbox if that matters)

you need to get a n unlock program on your xbox
you can use hdd unlock

do I put it in a evox boot CD or what ?

cause If I got it right, the Xbox won't even boot if the HD is locked right ??

I think I got it... we have to unlock it in the Xbox right ?? what if the Xbox is screwed ?! =P
is there any way to unlock the HD in a PC ??
