Yeah.

I need a small Tutorial.

I need to know which wires get soldered to where on the mother board, and i need to know whether to take off the old plug or not, and if so how.

I assume i just desolder it.... but yeah.

Thanks.

power supply pinout

the pinout is on page 9.

The tiny yellow and black cable are connected to the 12v and grnd on the left side of the power plug(pin 4&1 in that document) I actually measured them and all 12v and grnd wires connect to the same spot on your psu, so it won't really matter.

IPB Image

1) GND
2) GND
3) GND
4) +12 VDC
5) +12 VDC
6) +12 VDC
7) Power Enable
8) +5 VDC (Standby)
9) Shield (GND)
10) Shield (GND)

Note:
Pin 7 Turns Pins 4, 5, 6 on when it is tied to ground.

GND_RS gets connected to ground, same as the other black wires. The 4th Yellow wire is 12v, same as the other 3.

I've also got a question. When your 360 is on standby (power plug connected, 360 is off), does the tiny fan inside the psu work then?
