So I have a modded 360 and got the 3 ring error. I sent it to MS to get repaired cause I heard they were so far behind on repairs that they don't check the systems, they just send out refrb ones.. Guess not! Anyways, I thought I fixed it myself with the xclamp replacement method but now my system won't load any backup or orginal discs. Just says "reading" and nothing ever happens. Any ideas?

Thanks

Clean the laser. If that doesn't work, replace the laser.

Make sure ya have the drive plugged back in right, something may be loose there. Your X-clamp setup may need some adjusting if the 360 isn't turning off properly, that or something was damaged in the process of doing it.
