I was thinking of downloading some of the
Games for Windows - Live
via bitgamer

(e.g. Halo 2, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men,The Club)

games with the hope of boosting my gamerscore a bit as I have a Gold Xbox Live Account.

I've heard of MS banning gamertags for modded consoles, but has anyone heard of them banning players for using cracked releases of the games for windows games?

Could they even technically tell with the way Live is set-up?

In other words, I thought people got baned on xbox live b/c of MS firmware dectecting a modded console and not via detecting pirated software. Could they even tell, someone was doing this?

I would like to be able to get the achievements if I play through these games. Would logging in with my gamertag be really risky?
