Using The 360 On A Monitor With Dvi

my monitor has a VGA and DVI slot on it, but my PC only has VGA. Is there anything i can get to use my xbox through the DVI port?

Yes get the VGA cable and use a VGA to DMI converter (although it will still be analogue) or if your 360 has a HDMI port get a HDMI to DVI converter.

no HDMI port on the 360 unfortunately.

you mean a VGA to DVI adapter would work? i've only been able to find ones for DVI-I

and my monitor only accepts the DVI-D one.
