Yes, you have to mod the psp before you can run homebrew

What firmware is the psp at?

Yes you do have to mod the psp b4 loading/running emulators on it. There are several different way of doing so. Create a Pandora battery IMO is the best way. You can create it if you know someone with an already hacked psp or I believe Datel has a tool for about $20. Once you have the Pandora you'll want to load up a memstick with UPMS. I won't go into details as that would take far too much typing, but this is the way to go. Also, at present the latest custom firmware is 3.90 m33-2. biggrin.gif
