If the game is small enough to fit on a regular dvd, can it be played on one? I know most 360 games, when broken down can fit on a DVD R. Thanks for any help.

No it cant.

Back in the xtreme 5.3 days they was working on a way to get them to boot from a single layer disk but it was dumped in favor of a more Live safe iXtreme firmware.

So it could be done before the realese of ixtreme. so if I ever get banned, it would probably be worth it to downgrade my dvd firmware... Interesting.
If anyone knows an old guide to booting 360 games off dvdr's could you link me? I'm gonna look around.
