Well, I'm trying to transfer some files to my xbox, and about 10 of them wont transfer. They stop in the middle, it sais it is already there which it wasn't, and it stops, tries again, then gives up and I'm left with a corrupt half file. Whats wrong? Ive tried restarting computer, xbox, ftp, what else?

Look at the file names and make sure there aren't any characters not allowed. Also look at the length.

They are fine, and the size is around 10mb to 50mb for the files. Ive now tried trying to transfer one by one, but now all files wont work.

Try a different dashboard. Some just don't like certain files.

I think 1hotjob was referring to the 42-character filename limitation of FATX on the xbox. Also, you might wanna try a different FTP client too.

I figured out what the problem was, and im not too happy about it. I ran out of memory. I was trying to put in 3 mappacks, but it could only fit 2.
