Does The Kernel # Matter?

Are the newer kernels softmodable? I'm pretty sure that's a word. What I mean is do the softmod's work on all kernals? I have found some info on the net saying you can mod newer kernels.

Use Krazie's Ndure 1.1.1. It should soft mod any Xbox. If the Kernel isn't new enough it should update it. You want the latest one.

recent softmods work with all kernels. Also kernels cannot be upgraded. It is wise to get the latest dashboard though.

I wasn't thinking straight, I was thinking dashboard. Thanks for straightening that out Krazie.

For my money, nothing beats an original MS Mem card. I haven't had one problem transferring a game save with it.
