Hi.. i have been wondering about flashing a old P3 mainboard with a xbox bios.. A modded one ofc, i have been searching for it @ google... but no relevant matches as i could see.. anyone tryed / know anything? biggrin.gif
The plan is to flash a mainboard with a modded bios, have it run with a faster cpu than the box, ram etc.. and fit everything inside a regular "xbox" case.. To run emulators and shit.. thank you happy.gif

You may be able to find some way to flash an Xbox BIOS to your PC motherboard, but the end-result wouldn't be a faster Xbox. It's true that, on some levels, an Xbox is similar to a low-end Pentium III computer; however, the console is different on many more.

If you're looking to inexpensively increase the performance of your Xbox (without trying to find a 'DreamX' console, or replace your console's CPU), you could try having someone upgrade its RAM to 128 MB. Otherwise, there is not much you can do to it, in terms of hardware upgrades.
