So i have a ms25, being the moron i am, i accadently flashed it with a non-keyed ms28 firmware using dosflash. (iprep dosent work)

Now whenever I go into dosflash and select my drive, i get an error like 'no known flash chip detected'.

I have the orig.bin that i backed up prior to my first flashing. Is there any way i can restore this?

You should just be able to re-flash this pretty easily.

Take the key for the drive from the good orig.bin dump and put that in your new firmware, make sure the drive will still report itself as an ms-25 (spoof) as your new firmware will be acting like an ms-28. Then use the 10 sec method to flash over with your newly created firmware.

but it doesnt sound like the flash went good at all. you will need a VIA sata controller to do the bad flash recovery method

Store your orig.bin on your hard drive if you have it on a usb device. Then open the orig.bin in iprep.
