Hello everybody...

Just came back from my holidays yesterday and finished this nice tutorial that I have been working on for quite a while now.
I tested it on 2 360s so far since(both had E73) but it should also work for a large range of other errors that can be Southbridge related, like just to enumerate them: E67; E69; E71; E73; E76; E79; 0010; 0021; and more

Both 360s I did this one for are still working but more testing is necessary, I am pretty sure that there is not much room for improvements though, since it is basically the same procedure like for the normal X-Clamp Fix wink.gif

I dont expect this fix to be better than heatgunning the Southbridge actually but it is a nice alternative for people who dont have a heatgun, so regard it like that.

Here is the link to it I hope you like it, feedback is as always welcome, please post your results smile.gif

Nice tutorial...I will try this as well on a couple units as soon as I can find the right screws.

I have always thought of attaching a heatsink using the holes. I can't imagine what other reason Microsoft put them there for....

Ye was surprised that nobody made a tutorial for that yet like it is such an obvious thing, you will have to create your own heatsinks though, like you could use the ones from the WhisperMax but drilling is still required...
And it isnt that easy to get the right screws went to home depot and the smallest ones they got were M3 so I got these but they didnt fit rolleyes.gif
I ended up getting them on Ebay, costed like 2.50~3.50$ shipping included

i got E74 error before E73 error came up, right now my console shows up the E73 error, so if i fix my console using this method, will this fix the E73 error and change the error back to E74?

E74 overrides E73 so if you fix the E73 the E74 should not return....

nice tutorial mate
but one question.....why hdmi mobos are unfixable?
im asking coz i owe 3 falcons + 1 jasper...so far jasper dominates.....not even a single freeze from the day i bought it(6 months)

my falcons started dying after 3 weeks(unlucky?)

did you try fixing a e73 on a hdmi version?

your answer will really help me!
