ive seen people just crack open thier DVD drive and then swap the dvd's, but they place a magnet to keep the dvd in place. I have to put my fingernail on top of the CD to make sure the cd doesnt fly off. Where do they get the magnet from?!

I really dont want to purchase a kreon drive because i have a perfectly fine extra DVD drive to rip dvd's on.
Im using a plextor P-712A if thats any help.

There is a magnet in the top of your DVD case. Usually if you can get off the big sticker on top of your DVD drive, and then just turn the metal top, the magnet comes out really easily.
