I am having problems burning dvd+rw discs... I can only seem to fit 4.2 GB onto the disc even though it should be able to hold 4.7.. Anyone know what Im doing wrong?

i dont think you are doing anything wrong. the labels on blank dvd media say they hold 4.7gigs when in fact they hold closer to 4.3. my princo dvd's hold a little less than 4.5gigs. you will just have to live with what you have or find another brand that might hold a little more.

Yeah, just like HDs falsely use GB (in their world, 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes), DVD-R manufacturers use weird measurements. 4,700,000,000 bytes = ~4.38 GB. Consider that your limitation when burning ISOs and such.
