Do you have to use a 360 drive as replacement when you exchange a liteon-drive?
Can't you just buy a regular BenQ-drive and flash it with ixtreme and the key from the liteon drive?

Nope, sorry. Connector for power and eject is different on the 360 drive. Form-factor (shape of the whole thing) is different also.

Replacement drives are not too expensive. You can pickup new Samsung ms28 drives for around $30 on ebay.
