Ok i got a xbox 360 that has a Samsung MS25 in it that has the unread/unplay problem. I got a good hitachi 0078 i want to spoof and put in this 360. Now here is where i hit a wall. . . . .

1.I have made my iPrep bootable usb drive
2.I have a pc with a nforce chipset. i plug the 360 into port 1
3.I boot the pc let it load from the usb drive
4.I hit the agreement i turn on the 360
5.I hit y to accept the agreement.
6.at A:\> i type dsam 1234567 12345
7. It says Ensure the Samsung drive is on. Press any key to continue.
8.I hit enter it runs some text and says"No Drive Detected"
9.Then goes back to A:\> And is red and displays error Cannot Create Sam-FWorig.bin

Is there something i am doing wrong. i have followed textbook.2008 and done what it said.

Thanks for your help.

if you boot from the usb device then it would not be A:\ this is for floppy drive , my usb device is F:\
In Iprep you select your boot device unless you were making a floppy disk it would not be a:\

Yeah i am booting from the USB drive but when it comes to the dos prompt i am stuck with a:\ and if i run the "dir" command it shows the right stuff there. All i am trying to do is dump the orig firmware off of this samsung drive so i can get the key out of it and spoof my hitachi with the samsung key.

I got it done and spoofed my Hitachi with the key and such. But i had flashed the hitachi drive with the 8x fw so now it is loading like crap. So now i got to unspoof it reflash the hitachi drive and then respoof it. lots of stuff to do.
