I flashed my BenQ with iXtreme 1.41 using DosFlash 1.3

It reads games perfect, but when I put a backup in, any time I load a new map or have a loading bar, the drive makes a squkeey, grindy sound. It's not a deathly sound or a loud sound, you can barley hear it over the TV, but it doesn't make that sound when I play an orginal. I set the read speed to 12X when I flashed it if that helps.

Thanks

Benq drives have issues reading "backup games" as well as the other drives do. Especially if the burn is "marginal".
Slow load times.. huge delays with textures it has all been discussed before.

Solution: install games to hard drive. Or replace BenQ with TS

It seems to be getting louder, especially loud when loading at the dashboard. I tried the same backup on a friends 360 with a BenQ and it didn't make the sound as loud.
