somewhere someone has an xbox where they have leds in the front panel of their xbox and they are pointing down so it looks like the underside of the xbox is glowing. i know on their site they have pictures of it and i was thinking of doing something similar. i have already searched and if someone could help me find it i'd appreciate it alot

they're not "pointed down", they're just regular led's wired and placed near the bottom vents

Yeah, If you look at the front panel there are vents on the bottom. So what they probably did was put LEDs or a cathode inside of the front panel near the bottom.

I think I remember seeing it on consoleshowcase, but their site is down at the moment. But no whoever made it did not ask for an account on my site.

pull 5v power from the hdd power cable, add a resistor to each of your led's, wire them individually to the 5v power source, then put them down by the vents. If you are using super bright blue led's you need 110ohm resistor, i think you need a 220 for regular led's
