recently brought my wii back from the dead after about 8 months w/ a burned out bluetooth module and my family is enjoying it immensely once again. It's has a wiikey installed probably over a year now. It's one of the first gen consoles with the simple wiikey install. I just threw in a fresh backup of the new cooking mama and got a message saying "unauthorized device dectected" does anybody know what this means (aside from the obvious) or more details on this message. my wiikey is up to date. Has the wiikey been forgotten/is it old news? is there any good reason to upgrade to the wiikey2? should I start thinking about going with a new chip? if so, which one has the best support ie. new timely updates? user friendly is a plus, and i dont wanna program/make one myself. thanks a million!

You are fine with the WiiKey. There are many guides on how to correct the error at http://nintendo-scene.com/
