I am able to access the videos saves on F drive using XBMC however, its a trek to get there i'm sure ur all familiar. I have got some old cartoons that I plan on keeping my nephew quiet with on there buy a 4 yr old cannot navigate through on his own.

is there a way to edit the evox.ini in such a way that on the main dashboard screen that allows you to play hdd games, could I put a shortcut there so he could load the videos from the initial loadin page

Evox Tutorial

QUOTE
Special Items (thx to heinrich)
Commandline parameters option:

SYNTAX:
Item "NAME","PATH",ID_CMD,"PARAMETER"

Example:
Item "Bubble Bobble","e:\Mame\mame.xbe",ID_CMD,"\roms\bubble.rom"

Desc. of syntax-
Name - Display name
PATH - Path to XBE of app/game.
ID_CMD - additional options desc. below.
PARAMETER - App-specific. Parameters will only work with certain apps. Check the documentation or try it. No guarantees.

Read through the tutorial and it will help you figure it out. It would look something like:

Item "Cartoon 1","E:\Apps\XBMC\default.xbe",ID_CMD,"F:\Videos\Cartoon_1.avi"

It may be much simpler to have the Xbox boot to XBMC with the MC360 skin and have it load to the media blade. From there you can show him how to select videos and have the cartoons listed one by one on the video blade.
