hi there

i flashed my xbox 360 recently and have a liteon drive. I was wondering as 2 of my 360's have had RROD if there was a way of flashing my drive back to its original firmware so i could get it repaired.

You couldn't send it back anyway as you've broken the seal (and don't discuss such stuff on this forum, it's considered as fraud).

However, keeping an original copy of the firmware is always a good thing to do in case you do want to go back to retail firmware for whatever reason takes your fancy. Hopefully someone will be along shortly to give an answer. There are no retail LiteOn firmwares in "The Usual Places" so using FIRMTOOL to apply your dummy.bin to a "retail.bin" to create your own "orig.bin" isn't an option yet.
