Hello everyone,

Quite a few of the Xtras are out now. It's hard for me to keep track of suggestions people have. There haven't been many errors reported at all now, but I might forget when somebody tells me something if I don't put it in my own personal lists. These threads are designed to allow people to interact with the project and leave their suggestions relating to the topic.

I only played a limited amount of time on each game, usually enough to get a title shot and an action shot. There may be problems with games that I'm not aware of. You may also have found a version of a game that works fine that I marked as non-working. Report these things here.

Thanks for your support!!!

~Rx

If you want, I can help you setup a page on Wiki-Scene. See my sig. It might be easier to have a centralized location like that.

Definatley touched that you would offer that throwingks cool.gif . I'd love to have it up there at some point, but I'm really immersed in my work now so I don't have a lot of time to devote to such a project.

If there is any way you could take the helm on getting it converted there, it may be easier than the way I'm doing it now. It's been about 6 months since I publically shared this project, so it's always been evolving in look and feel.

Thanks for the offer. If you're too busy to work on it now, I'll look you up when I finish the testing and synopsis stuff and we'll get this up on your site too.

~Rx

Hey Rx,

Just noticed on your PSX spreadsheet that you don't have Jumping Flash 1 & 2, and Strider 2 as working.

I got both Jumping Flash games working awhile ago (part 1 works very well, part 2 has some clipping issues,
but very playable) and posted in the compatibility forum. For some reason I can't access this previous
post in the search engine. I can post back when I get home with settings if you like.

I also got Strider 2 working (thanks to fumanchu, over at 1up emulation), with a couple of setting changes
(run it in 1.4 core, with graphic settings off, frameskip etc)

Keep up the good work man.

dodonpachi also works it says in the compatibility list that it stalls in game after the first boss.
what you have to do is whenever the boss is beaten keep pressing the fire button not to fast just enough and the second level will start you have to do this after each boss is beaten, strange i know but just one of those things.

Cool guys. Just post any fixes here and eventually I'll get around to them. It's nice to have them in one place like this so I don't have to go looking around for everything when I get to them.

Right, kids in bed, Xbox time!!! Ha Ha biggrin.gif

The settings I use for Jumping Flash are:

BIOS mode
1.5 Core
GPU plugin 1.16
SPU plugin 1.9
Graphics fixes ALL OFF

CPU Fixes (a few critical ones here):
Parasite eve fix - ON
Disable CDDA - ON (music is skippy for me..)
Inu Yasha Sengoku Battle fix - ON
All the rest are OFF

Throttle method - fixed

This game really is still so cool... biggrin.gif

That game really is cool man. I never had it, but I remember it being the first truly 3D game I played when I had a demo disk with the first level on there. Thanks for the fix. I was bummed when I saw that it didn't work. I know you mentioned it did before, but I never got around to it. Now it's here for me to try out at some point. When I get back to PSX, I'll put any PSX fixes you guys got in the spreadsheet.

Hey RX,

I noticed that you listed a few of the Gameboy Advance games that needed to be unzipped in order to run. I tested some of them and I believe that it does not matter whether or not the roms are zipped. (I used winrar to zip them using the best quality setting.) Anyway, here are some of them that I tested and they worked while they were still zipped:

GBA - American Tale - Fievel Gold Rush.zip
GBA - Barbie - Princess and the Pauper.zip
GBA - Battlebots - Beyond Battlebox.zip
GBA - Cabbage Patch Kids.zip
GBA - Crazy Taxi - Catch A Ride.zip
GBA - Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.zip
GBA - Fairly OddParents! - Clash With.zip
GBA - Hamtaro - Ham-Ham Games.zip
GBA - Harry Potter -Goblet of Fire.zip
GBA - Harry Potter-Sorcerer's Stone.zip
GBA - High Heat MLB 2003.zip
GBA - Jonny Moseley Mad Trix.zip
GBA - Juka and the Monophonic Menace.zip
GBA - King Kong - The Movie.zip
GBA - Kingdom Hearts-Chain of Memories.zip
GBA - Mario & Luigi - Superstar Saga.zip
GBA - Maya The Bee - Sweet Gold.zip
GBA - MegaMan Battle Network III Blue.zip
GBA - Need for Speed-Underground II.zip
GBA - Peter Pan - The Motion Picture.zip
GBA - Pinky & the Brain - Master Plan.zip
GBA - Popeye - Rush For Spinach.zip
GBA - Prince of Persia - Sands of Time.zip
GBA - Rave Master-Special Attack Force.zip
GBA - Riviera - The Promised Land.zip
GBA - Robot Wars -Advanced Destruction.zip
GBA - Shamu's Deep Sea Adventures.zip
GBA - Sims II.zip
GBA - Sorry! & Aggravation & Scrabble.zip
GBA - Space Invaders.zip
GBA - Speedball II - Brutal Deluxe.zip
GBA - Spirit -Stallion Of The Cimarron.zip
GBA - Spy Muppets - License to Croak.zip
GBA - Superman -Countdown To Apokolips.zip
GBA - Tak I - The Great Juju Challenge.zip
GBA - Tiny Toon Adventures - Wacky.zip
GBA - Urbz - Sims in the City.zip
GBA - Wing Commander - Prophecy.zip
GBA - Yu-Gi-Oh! - The Eternal Duelist.zip
GBA - Yu-Gi-Oh! - Ultimate Masters '06.zip
GBA - Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Duel Academy.zip
GBA - Yu-gi-oh! Worldwide Edition.zip

Also, I got GBA - Top Gun - Combat Zones to work by applying an ips patch to it. Here is where I got the patch and there are a few other patches there as well for other games that may not work properly.

Yeah... I got to thinking after I was done that it was probably only the 32MB games that need to be unzipped and the rest were just glitchy zips on my end. I never tried zipping them back up. I'm not too overly concerned with this one since it only saves a few MB by going back and fixing it.

I will check out that patch though and any others that you know about.

Testing some of the games you wanted verified on your SNES list.

Earthworm Jim II - This game is just plain glitchy. I was able to get it to lock up a few times by just mashing buttons. I had throttle turned off. I don't know if I would put any time into trying to get through it. I was able to lock it up a couple of time in the first 2 levels. I did get past the old lady part though after forcing to it freeze at that part by with a button mash.

Kirby's Avalanch - I get the stall detected error as well.

Kat's Run goes to a black screen for me as well.

Sailor Moon S - Zenin Sanka! - this game work fine for me. It is a painfully bad fighter but it was able to die in the first couple of fight just fine.

I think those are the only ones in the list that had not been verified.

Testing some of the NES games in your list.

Base Wars - this game work fine for me. I am pretty sure you had it set to 2 players because it took me a bit to figure how to switch one team to cpu.

Day Dreamin' Davey - I played through the first lvl. The controls on this game are dumb as hell. You have to push a+b and a direction to jump. I was killed after wandering around the second lvl for awhile but game seems to play fine.

Formula one sensation - I tried PAL mode and the graphics are still messed up. It is playable though

Klax - Playing in PAL looked much better for me but there were still some lines visible.

Hey RX, Referring to the NES list now. I just want to let you know that Esper Bouken Tai may be removed because it doesn't boot at all on the xbox. I've tried other roms and it's like Best of the Best - Karate Championship just unbootable.

good looks megaman I want my xbox to be the most organized SUPER UBER POWER CONSOLE MEDIA PLAYING MACHINE that is why I am just as tedious or nit picky just like ne1 else on here or worse just as RX. I've got a ton of ideas but it would take a lot of work to re-arrange for every console setup. Ne ways I am going to keep testing out random NES games as I encounter.
