im sure this has been answered but the search is not working for me right now. I am using iprep 8.8 on a vista x64 system.

I try to load a firmware version, (any of them) i need to use benq 1.4 and everytime it says no valid firmware loaded. ive tried the .bin and also the .rar file and nothing. i have a via chipset and i dont know what else you guys need.

whats going on here?
Im running everything as an admin.

Have you placed the relevant ixDef.xml file in the resources directory of iPrep as that is probably whats wrong. You will need the ixDef.xml file that was created for the iXtreme 1.4 firmware if thats what you want to load.

Oh iPrep works just fine in Vista 64bit as thats the OS i use to make my bootable USB drive & i've never had any problems ever..

the ixDef file maybe corrupt
where did you get it and how big is it
same problem i had with xp 32bit
if you got it off xbins could be corrupt only1.3kb
download off 360mods biggrin.gif and it will be about 6kb

iPrep *does* work with Vista 64. Do a fresh install from klutsh.com, get both the latest iPrep and the latest definitions, which you need for ix1.51.
