Cat-6 Crossover Cables, Faster And Cheap

Okay I read somewhere that this cable is faster than your Cat-5 crossover but I was wondering is it compatible with the xbox and an NIC card style network?

it's compatible but it's not gonna be any faster.

Put it this way. A CAT5 cable allows for 100Mbps throughput, which is ~15MB/sec. Do you get that on your XBox? Nope. The cable isn't the bottleneck.
