I put XBMC on a coupla months ago. I'm wondering now, though...Can you play burned games on it like you'd be able to with a modchip? If so, how?

Just put it in, and if you have autoplay enabled, it should auto-launch

I just softmodded my xbox.

I have quite a few games 50ish.. I want to back them up, so I can use another disc to play them and same the wear and tear on the originals.

I've looked for a tutorial, but haven't found a good one.

How would I go about backing up my games? I assume you can't just use any general burning software?
I just want to copy each of my original discs and make a copy of it.

Thanks

First off, no you cannot use your PC to copy original xbox game discs. You'll have to get the xbox to do it for you.

There is an application for the xbox called DVD2xbox. It is the preferred app to copy the files off your original game discs onto your xbox hard drive. Then from there, FTP the game files to your PC.

Build an ISO on your PC from the game files using the application Qwix. Then just burn the ISO like any other. I use Nero.
