Hi,

I am connecting straight from an Ethernet Adaptor through a Crossover cable into the back of my Xbox. I get the connection appear in my taskbar so theres obviously nothing wrong with the cable or my NIC. I believe I have done everything that all the tutorials say:

set my PC to:
IP: 192.168.0.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Def Gate: 192.168.0.1

Xbox (through evox dashboard on a CD):
IP:192.168.0.2
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Def Gate: 192.168.0.1

I tried ftping from FlashFXP, no connection. SO I tried pinging 192.168.0.2 = 100% loss. So it appears to be a netwrok problem. 192.168.0.1 when pinged was fine.

Other settings read
IP Static: on
Setup network:yes
10 full duplex

Anyone have any ideas why I cannot connect?
I'm trying whilst the CD is still on and my Xecuter 2.1 lite is activated.

Thanks in advance

========EDIT==========

Just found out how to fix this error.

All i had to do was change the evox.ini file's attributes to Static IP=Yes and the relavent IP address'.
Thanks anyway guys.....this might be helpful to others experiencing the same problem.
