there is no battery, so it must be a cap.
i just don't know which one.

i've noticed that a lot of 1.0 boards have a leaky one in the front-left corner.
is that it?

anyone got a pic or tut?

Its the aerogel in the lower left corner, not sure about 1.6's though. It's not just v1.0's they leak on, I checked most of my xbox's (about 8 I think) a few weeks ago and only one WASN'T leaking! I've since removed them.

Anyone with an xbox would be advised to check and/or remove them NOW!

the prices people charge for these 1F 2.5V are ridiculous. (4$ plus shipping)

i found some 3.3F 2.5V (and 10F 2.5V) powerstor caps for cheaper.

should work fine i think....better actually.
