please fill free to correct me but isnt the Singapore made virbatims they recommend staying away from. i paid top price for verbatims from newegg.com got them in and they where Singapore. used them up and went to office depot (only place that has dvd+r dl in my town) and got some tna brand. paid $26 for 25. that said 32 on shelf but rung up 25 + tax. they all seemed to work with no problem for me. they may not last as long but for now they play with no prob.

Made in Singapore are the ones you want, it's the Made in India ones you want to avoid.

svp or fleabay

seriously stick with verbs, other media is far inferior to them, but if your gonna go cheap then i would choose memorex - stay clear of Aone whatever you do, got 20 a few weeks back - 15 coasters out the lot.

I buy the Verbatims from Sams Club. They are the ones you supposedly want to avoid but i have not burned a coaster yet and the discs are holding up fine. I even burn over a wireless-n network with no problems. Only bad part is that the discs are 2.4x only, but that is the speed most people recommend anyways.

BTW they are 50 for $60. A great price.
