Hey guys, not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I was wondering if its worthwhile to refurbish my thumb sticks.

What I am looking for is replacing the pots with new ones (X & Y Axis). Not the plastic top obviously.

I have the soldering/desoldering tools needed to remove the thumb sticks from PCB.

My questions are:

1. Can the thumb stick assembly be taken apart?
2. Is there a Tut on how to take it apart?
3. What is the resistance of the pots?
4. Can I find trimmer-thru (hole-thru) pots like the ones used?

5. Is it really worth it?

Thanks all.
