Hey guys,
Kind of a newbie here, but oh well. We have a router at our house and we have 3 PCs and my XBOX connected to it. Can someone please explain to me how I can get connected to my XBOX using Windows XP Professional? I don't have the slightest idea about how to do this.

I can connect easily to my box using the XBOX's IP and FlashXP, but since my upload speed is capped at 15k/sec, backing up my HDD is almost out of the question since it's so large. I really need to know how to connect to the LAN so I can transfer files faster. Thanks in advance...

You may want to try a different ftp program or you may need to change the buffer settings in flashxp. I have used WS_FTP_LE without any problem in the past. See if it works then try to change the setting in flashxp. Technically you are connecting to the xbox over your lan. By the way are you using DHCP on your devices?

Well, I tinkered with the settings that you gave out in a post or two below/above and it worked. I'm very happy and thanks for helping even if you kinda didn't, lol.
