Help Please!!!!

I would like to update my Hitachi GDR 3120L v59 to iXtreme 1.5 from version 1.4, but I have lost my original firmware. Is it possible?

My main reason for upgrading is I hear 1.5 is better and I can't backup my Wave 3 games, which all the new games (UFC, Ghostbusters, Transformers, etc.) are.

I've read all around and I can't find anything specific to this, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

no problem, please be aware the hitachis are not the best to start with , but please dont be afraid to ask if you are not sure as the last thing anyone wants here is for someone to brick their drive.
