Just bought a new 120GB HD and used xplorer360 beta4 to transfer my info from old 20GB. Popped it onto my console but says no hard drive present....
Did I do something wrong?
I made a bin file with my old 20GB and then attached new 120GB and restored image file.... When I expand the 120GB looks like all my info is there....... Just that my 360 doesn't recoginze it.

I am useing the MS data transfer cable to attach to the PC via USB.

Hopefully you backed up your 120GB

This is a mistake i made with my 60GB

When you make the image file on the 20gb, it takes its system files with it.

Long story short you have a dead drive until you reflash it with a 120gb hddss.bin

Cool, but this is an original Microsoft 120GB, not the WD 120BEVS. Any suggestions? I guess I need to replace the original 120GB bin file then overwrite the old 20GB onto it......

Any links for that would be great!

I just might bring the new HD back and exchange it for another. WHen I do, I want to make sure this does not happen again..... What steps should I take to make a flawless exchange between the 2 HD's? What tools/software do I need? Keep in mind I have the Microsoft data transfer cable and I will use that.
