I'm using Xbox 1.0, tsop, VGA bios 5053 Frosty, VGA mod - http://www.xbox-linu...al_sync_signals
This VGA mod run perfect... excluding XDSL which run in 720p totally green, booting screen is also green
I can see things, read text an so on, but is green as hell...
I run Linux from XBMC, loopback instalation (no display upgrade)
Any suggestions?

Your running mode 2+3 with frosty which will output that way on any linux distro I have seen.

To eliminate the problem run straight cromwell or ind vga in mode 1+3.

Another thing you will run into is problems with the vnc viewer on the pc viewing the xbox. When you run linux in 720p it will cause the screen to be slanted and disfigured. To eliminate that you need to boot into desktop settings or component

I reflash to Cromwell 2.40 than to IND VGA - both as green as before
tried 2+3, 1+3 - nothng help. Tried every vga bios available and results are the same..
Is this problem came from specific installation (not Frosty cable, but internal h,v sync)?

On mine when I run frosty in mode 2+3 it runs fine but when I launch cromwell from mode 2+3 it is green.
INd vga runs fine in mode 1+3 for me and cromwell runs fine in mode 1+3.

It could be your monitor or trace your wiring and use the wiring diagram for the mode switches from here

Did you use the config file for ind?

I have xboxes with sync separators and I have them with internal triggers all perform about the same for me. However I have noticed neither mod has good compatibility. I have like 5 monitors and only 1 monitor works with either mod. On the internal trigger mod I have to use 720p because the monitor hates the 480p signal it produces and flickers in and out. Also on xbmc on the internal trigger mod I have to change the video render method because it does the same thing when watching videos. On the sync seperator mod no adjustments are needed it works as it should with no apparent issues.

i used the same scheme when buildind vga, switches are working properly
i do not have config for IND, there weren't any in package
i'll try another monitor (i'm working on Samsung t220hd)

The monitor I have that works is a 20in crt quantex brand. I don't ever remember trying sync on green with no sync or triggers to know if it produces a usable signal or not.
