hey, im looking for a little insight on upgrading a t5500 in a laptop.

i was looking at a t7300, but after a bit of searching, have come to find that the t5500 is a socket m and the t7300 is a socket p (among other things, Even thought the intel site says they are the same socket). so thats out the question.

then i stumbled across the t5750. from what i can find on it, its a socket m with a FSB of 667. which is the same as my current t5500.

could i replace the t5500 with the t5750?
if not, could anyone reccomend a processor at ~2ghz that i could replace a t5500 with.
