ahh right, wire. duh. i've got 30 gauge laying around. i'll just clip the ends so there's nubs, and use solder flux for the spots that are not pre/solder, and run the wires from the other ends of the resistors to the other points.

EDIT - well i'm just starting to get the assumption that there's something wrong with my 360. Still get RROD after doing the soldering of the resistors. My NAND has the Xell_DHCP_RGB_1024x786 "NewXell.bin" flashed to it, and it's still a black screen, with 3 RROD. So I guess this is a no go for me with the xenon. I have a Jasper Arcade sitting around, so I'll have to wait for something else down the road. Thank you to everyone for their help.

This is the first SNES emulator to run natively on the xbox 360 using the new
Xell hack released by the guys over at www.free60.org

Build based off the sources from http://code.google.com/p/snes9x-gx/ & compiled
using LibXenon found at http://www.free60.org/wiki/Libxenon

All Code used to create LibXenon & to compile this port, is opensourse &
contains no Microsoft XDK code making it legal to distribute the .ELF files.

Currently only running on the xenon xell hack. Support for other chipsets is
in the works!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Install Notes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Copy Xenon.elf to the root of your mem stick along with any rom which has been
renamed as SNES9X.SMC

Insert mem stick into xbox 360 & power on.

Flash back to stock, then let me know what it does.

that's the problem. in my original post, I explained how i lost my original NAND due to my PC crash. I tried downgrading the 360, and i believe to have had 1888 on the NAND from using the infectus. But when it came time do downgrade, the infectus programer did something where I was unable to downgrade with the robinsons time attack.

so I asked here if I was able to flash the NAND with just the xenon hack bin file, and I was told yes. But now I'm starting to believe there's something wrong with the machine that i'm unaware of sad.gif

Um u should be able to just flash xell and be done with it. I'm guessing when you baked it u must of cooked something. I you dont have any NAND dump then xell is all that it will be good for, because your info from the NAND is lost.

The soldering looks like crap, but in my defense I was using the worst tip ever.

This is so not the place to continue this discussion you should make a new post in the hacking thread.

last question here, i dont want to start a new thread for one question. Do I have the correct bin file flashed onto my NAND? I used the one from the Xell DHCP RGB rar file, "NewXell.bin" I also have componet cables that are attached to my lcdtv.

Yes the NewXell.bin that I had posted, and said that you probably used, haha. That should be the one that you can use.

I have my xell all running and as i understand it, i put the snes9x xenon.elf and a rom renamed snes9x.smc in the root directory of a memory stick. hit power on the 360 controller, boot into xell, then loads snes but stops after the screen says something about xbox 360 controller...whats the deal?

I managed to get Seiken Densetsu running on my falcon the other day, but now, nothing seems to work. Keeps giving me the following error:
CODE

damnit, EDRAM init failed, again and again.exit: 1

ok, turns out I needed to reflow my ram tongue.gif

Anyways, the emulator is pretty sweet for a quick port. Is this going to be continued? Having save+menu support would be awesome.
