Well the title speaks for itself. I bought my 360 flashed and i was planning to update its firmware to 1.6
(i have a lite-on), but i was wondering if you need a connectivity kit and all those other things u need when flashing your firmware when u update your firmware.

yes

its all the same thing... you always need the same tools whether you are flashing it for the first time, or updating it for the umpteenth time.

I would always recommend the ck3 kit, as I do think people get banned for using the xbox as a power supply.

You can get away without an extractor. Since it is already flashed you can choose dummy from ixtreme to get the dump files from your drive.
