OK, I am a noob to all the Xbox 360 modding categories and I do need help seriously with this problem.

I recently received a Xbox 360 Halo Edition with a BenQ drive from a friend who said his drive was no longer working. I toyed around with it and thought, "hey, maybe replacing this with my spare Samsung from my last 360 might resolve this problem". I tried it and turns out that the drive would not read any games but alternatively would read CDs and DVDs, which is completely useless to me. I did some searching around and it seems to me that I have to extract the key from the board of the BenQ and spoof it to the Toshiba Samsung.

Now here is the big problem:

I am a noob to this, and I have no idea on how to do this. I've modded and flashed a drive before through a tutorial and that's about all the experience I've had. So I do have the connectivity from the drive to the computer if that's what is involved through the procedure.

So can someone please explain to me very detailed, on how to extract and spoof the drive.
BenQ TO Toshiba Samsung.

thank you in advance.
