Excellent work, boys. I wish I could be there to skin some H3 maps someday, but it doesn't look like that'll happen. Congrats on your accomplishment. It's exciting news.

This is a build with the possibility to ignore XEX hash checks to see if the executable is dirty. If you check this however, it will show all possible patches(Halo 3 and ODST), and you must select the appropriate one for the XEX you provided.

So, I just want to be 100% sure, this makes it so that you can effectively play modded .map files without a dev console, without having to sign them? Is there anything I have to do to my Xbox? I've been away from the modding scene for a while, and never really took any real part in it anyway, except just trying to learn as much as I could about it.

So do I have to do anything to my xbox to enable it to play the modded xex? For example, firmware modification on the dvd drive? If that be the case, do I have to burn a new disk with every .map mod that I want to play? Can I mod the maps that are in containers, like the DLC maps?

I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions, I just want to know if this is as good as it sounds.

Alteration was released publicly months ago.

I just planned to update it with bitmap injection considering I know how it's done. We already added bitmap extraction support to it. I've just been busy around this time because school is hectic. I'll work my best to get it all out soon.
