Trying to switch from pal to ntsc because i want to use component cable.
I cant get my xbmc to run ntsc.

When i boot ms dash by eject button, is says starts up in ntsc. And i can choose 720 480 and 1080

But when i start xbmc by power butten it runs in pal and the hd options is greyed out. (when i start msdash from filemanager in xbmc its pal)

When i using frosty rescue disc and starts xbmc from there, the xbmc runs NTSC.

So i wonder if theres a way to get ntsc in xbmc without using the frosty disc?

Is there to eeprom files; one physical eeprom and one virtual eeprom.
Do i have to update the virtual in a way, in that case, how do i do that?

Make sure you have the xman954 eeprom backup tool on your xbox. You can use the evox dashboard for that purpose as well.

You can temporary disable the virtual eeprom by adding a EEPROM_off.bin file to the e:\nkp11 folder or to the root of your E partition.

Upon the next reboot, you can backup your eeprom after you checked that it is running NTSC.

You can overwrite the eeprom.bin file which is used as virtual eeprom file with the backup you created.

Altough it will run xbmc in ntsc mode from that moment, it might be safe to reenable the virtual eeprom. (delete the EEPROM_off.bin file.)
